hey,
I could always connect from my Excel 2007 to Analysis Server when I was
using Windows XP SP2.
A couple of weeks ago, I installed Vista Ultimate on my portable, all went
well but since then I get twice following message:
"Initialization of the data source failed. Please contact your ..."
after connection to the server is made and I have chosen the cube to access.
The cube is fully accessible from other PCs in the network.
i searched the Internet, found quite some messages about this but all
related to earlier versions of excel and never mentioning Vista.
