Excel 2007 cell color changes when copying to other excell 2007 document using clipboard ?

Hi,

There is excel 2007 document which is generated by SAP. I think it contains
some VB macros and some grouping.
The problem is that if I select something from that document, copy that and
paste to another excel 2007 document - colors get inverted somehow - for
example white cell becomes red cell (backgroud color I mean), other
background colors changes as well.
If I open this xlsx document using excel 2003 (it converts document using
compatibility pack) the issue is gone - I can copy contents to other excel
2003 document without losing any format info.
The problem is that our users all use office 2007.

What could couse this behaviour ?

This could have something to do with Themes. When it happens again, on the
Page Layout tab in the Themes group, click the Colors gallery and as you
hover your mouse over the various theme color pallets see if the colors
change.

Hello,

Is has nothing to do with themes, but it looks like it's something related
with grouping color. So groupping colors are not preserved - for example
white data group background color changed into red after copying.
How do I preserve grouping colors when copying ?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "grouping color". I suspect you mean
when you copy a range of cells? What about clicking the arrow below Paste
and selecting Formulas? Or what if you select the destination and on the
Home tab in the Editing group click Clear and then click Clear All? Also try
the Paste Options button when pasting and select Match Destination
Formatting.

I'm having a similar style problem in excel. I have set up text boxes and
have formatted them with the font and size of font I need. However, when I
copy and paste text into these boxes the font changes. I was able to correct
they type of font using the theme suggestion, but the size of font continues
to change.

Do you know how to correct this?
