GSV Three Minds in a Can
Looking at a spreadsheet from ExcelXP (aka 2002) .. in 2007 the 'pie'
has turned into an individual serving (only 30% of the screen high) and
I have to select the plot area and drag it back to where it was before.
The font sizes have all changed too.
Also, whatever I do, I can't get charts (any sort of chart) to actually
fill the screen left to right (I'm using a 1920*1200 widescreen
monitor). Again, ExcelXP has no problem filling the screen from edge to
edge. Seems like Excel2007 only believes in 5:4 (or 4:3?) ratio graphs.
All my chart lines and symbols now come out 2x bigger as well - they
look like the toy-town version of the originals.
My VBA macro to show/hide toolbar (macro) buttons depending on what
spreadsheets are open won't work either. I assume there must be a
'ribbon' equivalent, but what it is is not obvious.
So far not impressed. Maybe I'm just getting old and luddlite?
