Hello
Have developed a workbook in Excel 2003 that has text boxes assigned macro
tha
have been grouped. This group is an an area above a locked line. In Exce
2007, when a copy of the workbook is made from the master, the grouped comman
buttons drop down from the locked area to about 50 cells below. Th
propertie
on the boxes have been changed from "don't move" to "move but d
not size with cells". Neither setting has stopped the movement. Once th
workbook is saved, closed and reopened the buttons are in the correct place
I
there a way to stop this?

Lots of people have complained about this when using controls from the control
toolbox toolbar -- and in lots of versions.

One (temporary???) solution is to delete the object(s) and add them back.

You may want to consider using controls from the Forms toolbar. I've never seen
them misbehave. Yes, the code will have to move to a general module and you may
have to modify your code.
