EXCEL 2007 - DATA VALIDATION LIST

To have a short list feature in DATA VALIDATION LIST
like in Oracle forms LOV( List of Values )
Can include an option " Sort the list & allow short listing" or
something of that sort since the list has to be sorted.

Would an Autofilter do?
You'll get a sorted list in the filter dropdown and be able to selec
just 1

Oracle is a database not a Spreadsheet software, try MS Access.
