Excel 2007 documents

I have Excel 2007 with this computer. I installed "Price Quotation without
tax" template for my business. After using this template and making a few
quotes for customers, the documents when re-opened cannot be viewed in Excel
or any other program. They WILL print but cannot be viewed or edited. This
might be a minor foresight on my part considering this program is new to me.
Can someone please help, I cannot lose these important documents. Thank you.

Is the version of Excel that you have with your new computer a retail
version or a trial version that came with your computer. If trial you need
to activate or if activated and the time is up, uninstall and install a
retail version of Excel. Excel, like Word and PowerPoint do not come with
the operating system provided by the computer manufacturer and need to be
purchased separately.

I open it, like any normal document and I get a blue screen. I tested it to
see if it was just me and went to print and the document printed but I cannot
see the document in Excel.
