How can I 'delete' a file that appears in 'Recent Documents' that I don't
want?

I usually open a file I want to work-on from 'Recent Documents' by just
clicking on it. Once, I opened a file from within Windows (using Windows
Explorer in XP by 'double-clicking' on the file). Then it appeared in
'Recent Documents and I want to delete it (a useless duplicate to me) from
there.

Thanks

Set the "Recent Documents" setting to one less than the position of the
one that bothers you.

Okay. Where do I go to change the "Recent Documents" settings?

Is this the Recent Documents in Windows? If so just right-click on the entry
you don't want to see and choose "delete"....
