Excel (2007)l Format Tab

According to the Office Excel 2007 'Help', I should have a Format Tab but I
have not. I have looked in Excel Options and found nothing there.

Does anybody know how to obtain the Format Tab

Not so. But there is a Format (with dropdown) button in the Home menu near
the right hand side.

Hi Hilary,

It depends on what you're working on if you'll see a 'Format' tab or if you use a Format tool in the ribbon.

For example, if you're working on a typed cell, for example then
Home Tab, Cells=>Format
could be used.

If you use Insert Tab=>Picture
then a Pictures Tool Tab-group appears and it has a Format tab, with a ribbon designed to format the picture you have selected.
