In Excel 2003, when you built a pivot table, you were asked at the beginning
whether you wanted to base it on a previous table or not. I always chose
‘not’ because otherwise, if you group any fields, those fields will be
grouped in ALL the pivots.
Now, in Excel 2007, I can’t find this option anywhere. If I have 2 pivots on
one worksheet, and the 2nd seems to be based on the 1st, which means I have
this duplicate-grouping problem.
Is there some way in 2007 to make the 2nd table *NOT* based on the 1st?
