Excel 2007 trial version does not open except in Safe Mode

I have uninstalled the Beta version and installed the Trial version but have
the same problem. It does not occur in other applications.

Have you followed the beta un-install instructions fully?

Also, you *must* uninstall the pdf/xps add-in
