Excel 2008 crashes when opening a file

J

joaopedro

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

This is a strange one:
I had a file excel file created with excel 2003 (windows). I open it with Excel 2008 and make a small change (add a number in a cell). I save it with excel 2008 (xls format). Than excel 2008 craches when I try to open the file. The strange thin is that IU still can open it with Excel 2003 (WIN) and even with Excel X (Mac).

Any ideas?

Hi,

If I can get the full crash log I can investigate this. Could you please
select all in the Microsoft Error Reporting log window and re-send, or send
to me directly ([email protected])? We'd love to figure out what's
causing this.

Thanks,

Pat
