Upgraded from Excel 97 to Excel 2000. My spreadsheets that have links will not open. Any ideas?

T Tom Ogilvy Oct 16, 2003 #2 the format for xl97 and xl2000 workbooks is identical. Upgrading shouldn't cause this. (did you change your directory structure - however, that should only break the link, not prevent the workbook from opening).
