Fred
I've just noticed that when I am FTP'ing in IE and double click on just
about any other file on the site, that file will open in its respective
application (i.e. .doc in Word, .txt in Notepad, etc.). But when I double
click on an Excel file (.xls) I get another logon prompt before the file is
downloaded and opened in Excel.
Is there a way to turn that off in Excel so I can just double click on it
and open it and not have to login to the site again.
BTW, if I do put in the paswword it doesn't save it. Even If I goto
Add/Edit FTP Locations and input the username and password it won't save it.
Hope someone can help.
TIA
