excel asp.net problem - openning excel file in webserver

Hi,

I have to make a upload application which is to run on a webserve
which does not has excel application loaded in it.

My input source is a excel file. I will have to selectively take dat
from the excel sheets and upload it into a database. I was able to d
this through vb with excel application installed in the system. i
there a way in asp.net through which i would be able to do the same o
a webserve
