Excel balloons

Russ

Using Excel on my Mackintosh at home, there is a menu
item under Help to "Turn off balloons." Here at work I
have a Dell with Windows XP and I am unable to figure out
how to turn off the "balloons." I don't need them, they
are obtrusive, and they hide whatever is behind them.

Any ideas?

I don't think Microsoft would add an obtrusive, annoying feature to their
program.

You might try right-clicking on the offending balloon, and if you're lucky
and MS was consistent, something will come up allowing you to turn it off.

Heh. I can never resist a sarcastic jab at the boss..

By the way, Clippy was only trying to help! :)
