Excel cannot re-open because of sharing violation

Everytime a user tries to save an existing or new spreadsheet to a network
drive they get this error.

'...xls' could not be found. Check the spelling fo the file name, and verify
that the file location is correct.

Then you click ok and get:

The document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a
sharing violation. Please close the document and try to open it again.

I have already uninstalled office and reinstalled. No luck.
This doesn't happen when saving locally. I also tried to save to a different
location on the network and I logged in as myself and had they same problem.

This may be a network issue or maybe a strict virus scanner setting that
prevents Exxcel from accessing the file when it wants to.
Try toning down the virus scanner.

That actually worked!
I uninstalled McAfee, rebooted, re-installed McAfee and I was able to save
without errors.
Thanks!
