I have linked few excel cells in a word document, using paste special (paste link) option and saved the document as macro enabled document with .docm extension as i have few macros on other pages. When i close and re open document, there is no 'update link' option. Further when selected 'object' from context menu, it says 'linked object is no longer available'. However when saved the document in .doc format, the links are working. Saving the document in .doc format will disable macros on other pages. Can anybody please help on how to fix this.
