Excel Chart X Axis scale problem

I've got a chart who's X-axis shows values for dates. How can I get it
so that the major units are a week apart and the minor units just a
day? I can't seem to add '7' to the major unit edit box. It keeps
changing it to '5'.

Right click on the x-axis. Select 'format axis...'
Set 'base units' to 'days.'
Set 'major unit' to '7 days.'
Set 'minor unit' to '1 day.'
Click OK.

Right click on the chart. Select 'chart options.'
Select the 'gridlines' tab.
Select 'major' and 'minor' gridlines for the 'x' axis.

DONE!
