Every time I try to use the font combo-box in the tool bar
my whole computer totally freezes and I have to turn it
off to restart.
The following are pertinent.
1. I have added fonts using "Type Fonts" at
simplymedia ... www.simplymedia.com.
2. All of the rest of my programs work just fine with the
new fonts!
3. If I use Format > Cells > Font on the Menu bar to
change fonts they work just fine, so I suspect it has to
do with Excel not liking to depict the fonts graphically.
Though it does show the first 5 before freezing.
4. I am totally updated with all the downloads and
patches for Office.
This is a totally pain in the ass problem. I have checked
out FQAs...
