Excel Crashes all the time without reason

It worked fine some weeks and now it's gone, just don't start, it apologizes
and shut down all the time, and, wich is worse, I cant open the excel docs
in word in this suite.
I have re-installed all the suite again, downloaded all the updates
(12.1.2), repaired permissions several time, restarted...

¿Any suggestion? Thanks.

Are you saying that Excel crashes on launch? What happens if you hold down
the Shift key while launching Excel?

Hello, Pat,

Yes, it always crashes on launch since two days ago, but I can't figure out
any reason.
Holding down the Shift key while launching it works: excel opens and works
(I have not tested it deeper). But always I try to open it directly, or
double-clicking any excel document, without the shift key, it still crashes.

Are you certain Excel crashes opening *any* Excel file? What if you hold
down the Shift key and launch Excel, then save the new workbook, then close
it and re-open it? Does that crash Excel?

Could you send me a copy of any file that crashes Excel in this way?

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have any problems with the file you attached,
so I'm not able to reproduce this. A couple next steps I would try would be:

1. Launch Excel (holding down the Shift key of course), then go to
preferences and uncheck the "Save AutoRecover information after this number
of minutes:" checkbox, then quit and restart Excel
2. You can also try creating a new user account, then logging onto that
account and try launching Excel.

I'll also be investigating the crash log you sent a little further to see if
we can learn anything from that.

I also have the problem of Excel crashing relentlessly on opening. I can manage to open it by pressing on Shift when opening and it manages to remain stable until I give print command when it crashes again. Any ideas on how to fix this ?
