Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I'm on Mac Office 2008, Excel 12.1.4.
No matter what I do,Excel crashes when I delete rows.
I'm on a brand new imac 2.66 Ghz Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X 10.5.6.
The problem has now existed since 2008 was released.
Could someone In MS PLEASE pay attention!

We're paying attention. This sounds very much like a bug we fixed in our
latest update. Can you please update to 12.1.5 and see if that fixes it?

Thanks,

Since this is a peer newsgroup, you're more likely to get MS's attention
by using Help/Send Feedback...

If you do, make sure you give more than the very limited information
you've provided (i.e., what method are you using to delete rows? How
about when deleting a single row? Does it happen with all workbooks?
Does it happen in a fresh Mac OS X user account?, etc.)

However, MS employees do occasionally post here, so you may get lucky...

Of course, the first thing you should do is update to XL 12.1.5, since
the problem you're experiencing could possibly have been fixed.

The other thing that has helped some people is to delete your preference
files (making sure that XL is closed).
