Excel Crashes While Graphing

Can anyone help? I have no clue what to do or who to go to for help...

I use excel to graph data from students. I often will copy the graph
and just change the source data. When I click ctrl and the mouse
button, and then click on 'select data' excel will crash. I copied the
error message. As you can see, it has happened over 30 times (and the
previous crash to this one was a 1:30min before)! I have checked
updates.It doesn't happen ever time, and I don't know what predicts if
it will or wont' happen.

Not sure, but I am having a bear of a time editing charts from Pptx using Excelx. I have crashed many times and finally found new version often chokes using older techniques.

Suggest instead of copying the chart, try copying only the source data, paste into new worksheet or file, make your data changes and insert a new chart showing new data. It may (not sure if it will!) avoid the crashing you are experiencing.
