I have had Excel 2007 for about 3 months. At first when Excel crashed I
thought it was just having difficulty adapting to my older file type (Excel
2003). But it still crashes regularly, telling me that there is not enough
capacity to open particular files (which have regularly been open before), or
reporting that they are corrupted and that it will not be able to restore
formatting. Usually, after a couple of shots, I can get the files to open,
but it is very annoying. None of these files are partricularly large, and
all operated well in Excel 2003.
I have had no similar problems with other 2007 Office applications.
