I am new at this and I was hoping for anwser from the 2/4 posting whic
stated:

I have an Excel spreadsheet whose cells are populated with dat
(numbers or text) that was a dump from a reporting database. Is ther
any way to take this data and then dump it into a Word document so i
can be organized into a reasonable reporting form?

How is this done with mail merge

There are lots of ways to do this, and frankly it depends on the nature
and format of the data. Excel is a good reporting tool, and can make
terrifically formatted paper. Why not just keep it simple and use Excel.

If you must put into Word, the simplest is to select the data, copy,
then paste or paste/link (via Clipboard) into Word. If you use Paste
Special menu command, then you'll see the available options.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
