Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Having issue to get the date right in Excel.

1.Under International of System Preference, have put the format as Day,Day,Month & Year.
2.Under Excel, have set custom date as Day Month Year.

However, the issue still remains is that whenever typed "2/11" (to represent 2 Nov), it automatically changes to 11 Feb instead.

Need some pointers. Thanks.

Have you restarted Excel since changing your System Prefs? I believe the
program only reads those settings on launch.

Also, make sure you have Office fully updated. There were some Date issues
which were corrected by some of the later ones.
