Excel divides every number by 100 upon manual data entry

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I've probably corrupted a com...plist or something in an effort to fix persistent crashing. Now, when I start Excel. Every number I type into a cell is automatically divided by 100. How to fix? (W/o trashing my custom toolbar.)

No, you've simply changed a preference you didn't mean to change... At least
that's the most likely cause

Go to Excel> Preferences - Edit & clear the check on: Show this number of
decimal places. If you choose to leave it checked you'll need to include two
zeroes at the end of each number you enter.
