Excel does not show result on formual

Many times when I enter a formual excel will show the
fomual the the cell but not the result. I can somtimes
put it in another cell and it will work???

Hi
check that this cell is not formated as 'Text'. Goto 'Format - Cells'
and change the formula to 'General'. After this re-enter your formula
