Excel download

My computer has Windows XP, but no Excel. I only have a poor spreadsheet program that doesn't compare to Excel in the slightest
Is there any official way I can download a version of Excel, old or new? I've tried the Microsoft website, but it doesn't seem possible to download the whole program, only upgrades

There is no legal download of any version of Excel. You have to
purchase the product.

I would suggest you go along to the local car boot sale where you may be
lucky to get a CD of Office97 quite cheap. But please make sure it is a
legal CD not a bootleg!
