Excel Driver login failed

I am receiving an error message when trying to complete a
mail merge. The error is "ODBC Excel Driver Login
Failed - Unrecognized database format"

I am using Excel 2002 service pack 2.

If anyone has had this problem and has a fix, please let
me know.

I receive the same message when trying to import data from one xls
workbook to another. :(
