Excel error (stdole32.dlb )

I am getting an stdole32.dlb error message whenever I'm opening up excel.
After I click ok it goes to the installation screen and even after I let it
finish the problem still occurs. I have installed and reinstalled already and
it still exists.

Also on word the installation window comes up as well and funny enough all
other office applications work fine even though I barely use them!

Is there a way to resolve this issue.

Try un-install Office and then re-installing. Before re-installing, run the
Temp File Deleter found at http://www.add-ins.com/temp_file_deleter.htm.
This will prevent incorrect temp files from being used in a re-istall.
Minimum delete is the EXD files. Deleting other temp files is probably a
good idea.

After installing, install the latest service pack, and after doing that, do
a repair of Office.

The problem is caused in some cases by installing a beta version of Excel
2007 and then un-installing.
