Excel for Mac Leopard.

A worksheet created on my iMac sent by e-mail to both an XP and a Vista based computer can't be opened. Why?

I don't have any idea unless you supply some specifics. I do this all the
time (many times per day) with no problems. Are you compressing the file?
Which email program is sending it? What happens when the vista users try to
open it? How are they trying to open it? What errors do they get if any?

Thanks for your interest. I have checked with those to whom I sent the spreadsheet, and it turns out those with Windows XP have had no problem opening the Excel attachment. The problem appears to be with those running Microsoft Works on Vista. For them an error message comes up saying "Works cannot access the file". I suspect they will need to buy a suitable compatible program.
