Re EXCEL 12.1.5: The FORMUAL BAR is only half shows because the left side of the bar is off screen and I cannot get it corrected. The only portion that shows on the screen is the right section of the bar where you can view the cell formula. I have already tried turning the formula bar off, then back on, and re-loading the program. How can I fix this?

Try:

With XL closed, delete the "Excel Toolbars (12)" file in the

~:Library:preferences:Microsoft:Office 2008:

folder, where ~ is your home directory.

Hi There,

Close Excel.

There is a file in your username/library/preferences folder called "Excel
Toolbars (12)". You need to delete this .xlsx file along with the
"com.microsoft.Excel.plist" file.

Presto.
