excel formula

I'm trying to combine the data in one column w/the data in
another column. I know that the formula for row by row is
example:=B1&" "&C1 but I cant figure out how to do the
whole two columns at once! Please help if you can!Thanks

Hi Brian,

Just enter the formula once and copy down or double click
the fill handle.

Brian,

Like Chuck's solution, but quicker and easier. Assuming that the column you
are targeting as D1, put the first formula in D1 as before, and as Chuck
says, move the mouse to the bottom right corner of the cell until the
cursor changes to the black cross. AT this point, double-click the mouse,
and the whole column autofills.
