I am working with a merge letter (WORD) and an accompanying merge list
(EXCEL). In EXCEL one of the items is a date. The date should not break onto
a separate line when it is merged in the WORD document.
How do I insert a hard space in EXCEL that will keep the date together - so
that when WORD inserts the data from EXCEL, it stays together.
I know that WORD recognizes the "carrot s" (^s) as indication not to break
text. However, I can not find such an indicator in Excel.
Can anyone assist me with this?
Thanks SO much!
