Excel in 2007 Beta

Bill

When inserting an image in excel I cant seem to find how to make the
background of the image transparent, I have my signature as a bmp file, and
in my office XP 2002 excel when I insert the signature I can call up a
picture tool bar that will make the background transparent so my signature
fits on a line and not block contents in neighboring cells. Hope I explained
that correctly.

I cannot seem to get that effect in 2007 beta, and searched through all the
picture formats and cant seem to find any transparent option. not even in
the help file.

Any ideas and if it is actually missing how can I send that to MS for it to
be added back

thanks

Bill

Not to worry ..found it under the recolor option to the left...set
transparent color...all is well now :) strange the help file does not have
a reference to transparent colors

Hi Bill,

The help files, both online and offline for 2007 Office products aren't complete yet :)

Be sure to send the feedback directly to Microsoft on what you'd like to see (and why - including where you'd expect to find it in
the Table of contents for help) using the send-a-smile 2007 Office system feedback tool (link below).
