Excel in the body of Entourage

I receive a roster for an organization fro a PC user created I Excel that
shows up in the body of my Entourage email and not as an attachment. The
extension of the document within the Subject line is .xls. The document is
not editable like a .pdf document. How is he sending this document to show
up in the Body of the email and NOT as an attachment? This makes it very to
print without having to open an attachment, and the application.

I have attempted to do this on my Mac using Office X 10.1.4 without success.
Copying and pasting as special will not work, dragging the Excel document
into the email only adds it as an attachment, same with a .pdf document.

I am using Mac OS X 10.3.3 with Microsoft Office 10.1.4I would appreciate
any assistance on this matter.

Thank you so much.
