Excel just stops

Right in the middle of input, Excel erro message appears and stops. Then reboots itself losing data not saved.

What version of XL?

What version of Mac OS?

Does it happen for multiple workbooks or only one?

What error message appears?

Is there *any* pattern you can detect?

How complicated is the workbook - lots of calculations? charts? etc?

What was you last keystroke
What was the error message
Did you respond to the error message
