Excel Logical IF function

[Stuck!]

I am trying to enter in a function in Excel that if is if A5 is less than
half of D5, if true Y if false N. I can not figure out how to enter the half
of D5 in

 

[trip_to_tokyo]

EXCEL 2007

Try this:

=IF(A5<(D5/2),"Y","N")

Half of D5 is =D5/2, so you want:
=if(a5<d5/2,"Y","N")
