Excel looks for OPCS.msi

Excel is looking for the OPCS.msi file, but it's not finding it. I have
done a search for it in the places where it would have been located, but
it's no where to be located.

I have also noticed that MS Money isn't working like it suppose to, and
wondered if these 2 things may be related to each other.

I tried google before coming to here and google didn't have anything on it.

I however did find solution to my issue. There were a couple of different
add-ins that went defunct when the IT department had changed the domain
name. I'm not sure why something like the add-ins would go defunct with
something like that, but it did just as a couple of other things didn't
initially work. The only way was to reinstall the add-ins and one of those
issues was also dealing with our email program. Most user's email program
worked just fine, but there were a few that needed their shortcut to their
email program on the desktop deleted and then recreated from the actual
program file.

In all of these cases, they were looking for a particular file, didn't
locate it, came up with looking for an msi installation package file, which
wasn't located anywhere on the HD or network file server (at least not
externally as this could potentially be internally to the installation
programs). In the case of the email program, even using the installation
program came up with this same error as I had tried that first, but then
after talking with our email administrator, he told me to replace the
shortcut icon, as another user has a similar situation, and I did that,
which then that resolved the problem as far as the email program was
concerned.

I don't know why changing domain names would create these kinds of issues,
but it did.
