Excel loses landscape settings during saves

Processor: Intel

I have two Excel files with 5 tabs each that I format for landscape at various scales from 80% to 90%. When I save and re-open either file, randomly the tabs get reset to Portrait at 100%. That is, on any given SAVE, anywhere from 0 to all 5 of the tabs become reset. I can discern no pattern as to which tabs become reset. This has been happening for about a month.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Yes, IIRC this is an acknowledged bug which is already getting attention
from MacBU. As yet I don't believe it has been fixed, but perhaps in the
next update - I know it has been a priority.
