Excel (MacOS X) and Autofill text in columns.

Why does my Excel (MacOS X 10.3.5) no longer autofill text in columns? I have
checked the prefs are set up to do so. I never used to have this problem in
9.2.2 and cannot see what I have done wrong. Nobdoy yet has fathomed this
out. HELP!

Thanks for this, Michael. Sadly, the browser returns a CANNOT FIND THE SERVER
message when I load the URL microsoft.public.mac.office.excel

As you gather, nobody has suggested anything at all - aprt from yourself.

I am starting to wonder if everything 'Microsoft' is deliberately made
poorly or faulty for Mac users. I must be imagining it!
