I'm running excel 2003 with XP Professional. Over the past 3 days whenever i
have more than one worksheet open and then close them to exit Excel, I get
that standard error message that Excel has encountered a problem and that it
has to close. This does not haappen if i had only opened one worksheet. It
does not happen when I save or close any worksheet. It only happens when I
exit the program completely.
The steps i have taken are as follows but none of them has solved the
problem. I have used the "detect and repair feature". I have unistalled and
reinstalled Excel and I also tried to do a system restore, which was
absolutely useless because whatever date i selected to restore back to, the
effect was a message to say that it could not restore to that date and it
asked me to chose another one. I tried 6 different restore points on 6
different days. None of them worked.
What should I do next?
