Hi
I'm not entirely sure what do you want to do, but maybe you try this:
1. Create a Excel file with one-column table containing your ticket numbers
(you can have more columns, when there is some other info unique for every
ticket, too, but this one must be. NB! Column(s) must have header in first
row. Save the file.
2. In MS Word, start Mail Merge (Tools.MailMerge);
3. Create main document as 'Mailing labels' in active window;
4. Press 'Get Data' and select 'Open data source' - select your Excel file
as data source, and when done, press 'Set up main document' button.
5. Select passing label type (paper and label formats are what you have to
check for), or create your own label, and select it then;
6. Designe your ticket as you wish. To insert ticket number (or any other
info from Excel table) set cursor where you want this to arrive, press
'Insert Merge field' button, and then select passing field name (column
header in Excel table). When done, press Enter;
7. Press Merge button. In 'Merge to' select 'New document' or 'Printer', and
then press 'Merge'. It's all!
