Excel -- paper symbol attached to cursor?

How do I remove what appears to be a paper symbol that is attached to my
cursor in Excel? Not sure where it came from.

If you click and drag on a worksheet tab on the bottom of the window, you'll see
that your icon has that piece of paper attached to it.

I'm betting that the mouse is stuck. I'd gently bang on each of the buttons on
the mouse--include the wheel mouse button if you have one.
