Excel Paste Link Problem

In Excel, I highlight a range and copy. Going to a blank ppt slide: Edit >
Paste Special > Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object > select Paste Link > OK.
The selection pasts into the slide but trunckates three columns off the right
side of the pasted Excedl object. Who do I get the entire Excel selection to
paste into the slide?
