excel pie chart

I have several pie charts and would like to display both the data and percent. In the options menu it does not offer such a feature. For now I have percent displayed at the bottom of each piece of the pie chart. The only way I see that I can enter the data with the percent is manually, which would be both a pain and time-consuming. There are other options, data only, percent only, percent and legend, etc., but not data and percent. Am I missing something?

Unfortunately that isn't an option in Mac Office charting features. The only
workaround I know of may be more trouble than it's worth;

Create one copy of the chart to display the values & create a second copy of
the chart to display the percentages.

In the 2nd copy set the Fill of the Chart Area, Plot Area & Data Series to
No Fill, remove any Shadows & turn off the Legend.

Use Format Data Series> Labels - Label Position to set the labels for each
chart differently for best visibility.

Place the 2nd (transparent) chart on top of the original.

You might also use Help> Send Feedback to make sure the limitation is on
file in the MacBU database for future consideration.
