excel preferences

When I converted my old spreadsheets to office for mac:2008 my sound preferences will not hold. I have to reset the sound feedback preference at least 2-3 times a week. It may hold for a day or it may hold for three days, but I will soon have to reset it. The compatibility check does not indicate this problem. I need help.

I doubt it has anything to do with old spreadsheets - many people have
had problems with sound prefs, and unfortunately, I don't think there's
a definitive solution.

You should, of course, make sure you've applied the latest updates.
