Excel Publisging Web Pages

I can happily create web pages using Excel, saving ranges at web pages
creating html, but what I cannot do it have any graphics used display on the
web.

When I publish the file and look at the version on my C: drive all is well.
But when I upload that file to my web server and view over the web all I see
is the text, the graphics are just a box with a red cross in the top corner.

I am sure this is something simple, so could someone either tell me what I
am doing wrong, or point me in a direction to look.

I'm not big on html but it could be you have save the graphics (and I
think that will include graphs) as separate files and have a link to
them as a web docment is just HTML code saying display text in this
format and load an image from this address.
