I have Excel 2003. I was going to open up an Excel file and I got a window
that popped up saying "Windows Installer...Preparing to Install" then
"Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003...please wait while Windows
configures Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003". Finally, the last
pop-up window I get says "Installation Error: File not Found...A required
installation file SKU111.CAB could not be found".
This is the first time I have seen this. I have many Excel files on my
system, and I can see the attachments (so I know Excel is installed on my
computer). Also, I can open up any of the other Office Suite software (Word,
PowerPoint, etc). Unfortunately this is a used work computer and the person
who owned it before I did, lost all of the cd-roms so I don't have them to
reinstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
