Excel shows column header's names as numbers(1,2,3) instead of chars (A,B,C,...)

Hi
I have a problem with Microsoft excel; as you can read on
the subject, when i open excel, it shows a data sheet like
this:

[] 1 2 3 4 5
1

2

3

4

(instead of the classic A B C D on the columns)
¿how can i change to chars? (well , the question should
be "how the f*** could i change it?", but i want to fix
it )

Go to Tools-Options-General and uncheck the box marked "R1C1 reference
style"
